It's Thursday ... You know what that means!

OMG - 17 weeks (& 3 days)! Only a few days till our next appointment!
Our Target registry also tells me there are only 158 days till his due date! That doesn't seem like all that much!

I swear I plan on posting more than just once a week! I always start this post on Sunday to get out on Monday (when I was 17 weeks exactly!) but I never end up finishing it :)

Anyone who says Blogging is easy is lying ... or has a secret I WISH they would share! :) I am so pooped when I get home, after a full day in the office that it takes everything to make just dinner and sit on the couch!

The past few weeks have been all about organizing and decluttering at home, as I try to take Mary Organizes' challenge (you must check it out!!).
So this week I have chosen all things to help get organzied, and hopefully stay that way!

How to balance blogging & family time: I totally need to learn about this so I can get more blogging in!

Creating a blog posting schedule: Have I mentioned I need this? :)

Wise words for Moms: exactly as the title states! I am looking forward to looking into these resources! Plus added bonus ~ There's a giveaway on this one for the next 12 hours!! Don't miss out!

Thank you for joining us for another week of Thrifty Thursday!! I hope you will add your posts below and continue to join us weekly!!!

Bedroom Organizing

This week just continues to get away from me! We are heading into the middle of the first month of 2013, already! I know, I'm sorta rushing it, it's not even the 10th yet!! But it will be the 15th before you know it!!

Well, last weekend I decided I was done dealing with the mess of books and movies lying in piles in Riley's room. Luckily, for all of you, I forgot to take before photos!

Here was our solution!
We went to Walmart and found a 3 shelf bookcase for $15.84, in white!

As you can see the cats even enjoyed it!

Here are the parts straight out of the box and also put together. Jax wasn't sure what to do with it!

Then I took it upstairs to her room and loaded all the books and movies. The movies are in alphabetical order (OCD, lol) but the books are more in groups by size.

Of course there is always more to do, but I am very pleased with this outcome and can't wait for Riley to see it!

What was your last home project?

Day # 10: Organizing the kitchen

Today we are going into the kitchen.
This past weekend (while I was full of energy from waking up at the crack of dawn to watch the sunrise with hubby) I decided to organize the kitchen!

My counter had become the "catch-all" for everything mail, magazine, borrowed tupperware, my purse :), etc. So I was tired of it. I went to Walmart and bought a few binders & supplies, then I 3-hole punched my planners & recipes and voila!

My favorite part is having all of my e-meals weekly meals all in one place, and my weekly holiday planner that I found on my friend Michelle's blog!

Now you can actually see the counter! Let's hope it stays that way.

How do you stay organized? Any tips you can share?

XOXO,
