There is a human growing inside of me

How many of you have been pregnant ... regardless of how long ago? 

It is so surreal, honestly. That is the only way I can think to explain it. If you seriously stop and think about it for a minute, there is a human being growing inside of my belly ... in near 6 weeks I will be holding him in my arms - knowing he was just inside me.... ummm Sur-Real!


I know it has been some time since I have had a chance to update everyone, but here's the low-down:

2 weeks ago, Hubby and I bought our very first house!!! We are so excited and things have just been a whirlwind! We moved in for a full week, and almost another full week later we finally got a great portion of boxes unpacked - thanks to my Mom & Jerry!! There's still so much to do but we actually live in a house that is ours! Sometimes we have to keep reminding ourselves that we are not just on vacation and won't ever be returning to our rental!

That being said, now it's time for an update on BABY! He is wonderful! I have my last bi-weekly appointment this coming Thursday, and then we go weekly!! As per my due date (2/24), I am 34 weeks today, however I am 35 weeks Wednesday based on his measurements since about at least 20 weeks! The last 30 weeks have just flown by and I can't believe it's almost done!! I could use another 3-4 good weeks to settle everything but we are pretty ready for our baby boy to join us!
Soon I will have the nursery all set up, then I can share all the details and also share all about my baby showers, yep I had more than 1, technically more than 2!!
 
Before I go, I just want to say, also, how extremely wonderful my husband has been!! He had to move our whole apartment, with some help from friends , while I just directed :) and he has been so great in getting anything we (I) need (want) for the baby!

It's Thursday ... You know what that means!

OMG - 17 weeks (& 3 days)! Only a few days till our next appointment!

Our Target registry also tells me there are only 158 days till his due date! That doesn't seem like all that much!

 I swear I plan on posting more than just once a week! I always start this post on Sunday to get out on Monday (when I was 17 weeks exactly!) but I never end up finishing it :)

Anyone who says Blogging is easy is lying ... or has a secret I WISH they would share! :) I am so pooped when I get home, after a full day in the office that it takes everything to make just dinner and sit on the couch!

The past few weeks have been all about organizing and decluttering at home, as I try to take Mary Organizes' challenge (you must check it out!!). 

So this week I have chosen all things to help get organzied, and hopefully stay that way!

How to balance blogging & family time: I totally need to learn about this so I can get more blogging in!

Creating a blog posting schedule: Have I mentioned I need this? :)

16 Weeks .. and counting!

Have you ever felt like you know exactly where you want to go, but have no clue how to get there? Who am I kidding, I bet all of you have :) I have been thinking a lot lately about the direction I want to go with my blog and since finding my new giveaway obsession, the destination is becoming more clear to see, the way to get there however, is not.

That being said the 3 major blogs I am following daily, 21 Random, Thrifty Nifty Mommy & Viva Veltoro show me a lot about this new world, and I was very encouraged to read (somewhere) that Viva Veltoro was still considering herself "New to blogging" less than 1 year ago! I can do this! It is so much work though :)

As for the BABY ~ 16 weeks!!! I was really wishing I would have updates to post every week but it doesn't seem to be going that way. However, I have to be happy because it means nothing is wrong either!

As I sat at my in-laws on Sunday and they watched the football game, which I don't care about - at all, I tried to finish up our baby registry and there is just so much to choose from, I am so lost!

I can't believe it!

First off, I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted - anything! (more on that below). It has literally been a month and a half since my last post... :( 

Second, can you believe that TODAY is my 1 year BLOGIVERSARY?? Go check it out! One year ago today, I posted my very first blog ever! This calls for a celebration, but like all other things, I have waited until DAY (night) OF to write this, so I don't have any celebration planned! Maybe, one day, I will get something together! 



With all that being said, I have been saving bits and pieces of info I've wanted to shared with you all - I have tons of photos and ideas of posts. I should be able to fill the rest of the year!

I took some time off and I wish I could say it was to enjoy life and my family over the summer! The truth is I got lazy and didn't make blogging a priority, which is upsetting but I'm here to try again.


BIG NEWS!!! I am currently 14 weeks (&3 days) pregnant with a baby boy! We are so excited! I've always wanted to blog while pregnant, always wanted to be able to share everything going on, yet I dont feel like I have much to share :) 
This past weekend we did the Gender Reveal with cupcakes and shared through facebook to tell all our friends and family!

This ticker is a few days ahead. I made it way at the beginning then we started measuring a few days behind, but I really like this one :)
